¡Menos Policia y Mas Diversion! The plan is to embark on a 3 week tour to spread art and musical color through cities and small towns from LA to the Bay, specifically in communities with little or no access to creation. Each stop, there will be a workshop on people's propaganda and guerilla theater as a tactic to engage young people toward revolution. Workshops can take place anywhere from a small garage to a squat to a community center. Apart from workshops, we want to book as many shows as we can to share some songs and sing with people wherever we go. To do this, we need to raise money for supplies as well as money for travel/food etc. Help us make this dream possible and help us spread color to this world. In addition to creating images, Marquez has taught workshops on the importance of graffiti art in revolutionary movements and has collaborated with the Liberation Arts Community Engagement (LACE) Center to bring Liberation Arts to young people in LA. Marquez has organized with various non profit organizations and now works towards their own liberation through the arts.
