You Cant Escape The Future Compilation FREE DOWNLOAD!!!!

Today is the release for the "You Cant Escape The Future Compilation" and is already up for free online download. The compilation consists of all ska-punk bands. The bands are "None At All", "Broken Culture", "Atrocity Solution", "Ghetto Blaster", "Beng Beng Cocktail", "The Crack Squad", "The Stupid Stupid Henchmen', and 'From The Cradle To The Rave'. We have already downloaded it and listened to it. It's fucking sick so you need to go download that shit right now. By the way, the compilation was put together by Unknown Records for their friend Future Boy who is the bassist of Broken Culture and who has been hospitalized since April. There is supposed to be a Donate Button somewhere where you can donate to Future and his family because you know how those ridiculous hospital bills are. The FTW Days!

Believe it or not here is a skate video brought to you by Filmer Marvin. The video was called FTW(Fuck The World) It's a bunch of footy from 05'and 06' so it's pretty fucking old. Unfortunately this is not the actual edit. This is small re-edit done by Elzar and it's pretty sick. You might see a bunch of recognizable characters such as Jaime Morua, Nate Macias, Leon Douglas, Noah Lee, Craig, and Miko. The ending part of it is actually original. It's a piece put together by Angel Moran directed at Nate Macias. It was meant only as a joke amongst the homies and was never meant for online view. Check it out and enjoy the much simpler times.

R.I.P. Talina!

Yesterday was our friend Talina's two year memorial! Unfortunately we weren't able to make it due to a hectic schedule. For those of you who are new to our blog and are not familiar, Talina was our good friend, a contributer, and a big part of HIDS. We wanted to take the time to just say that she was a great inspiration to HIDS and still continues to inspire us even though she is no longer with us. We still miss Talina and will never forget her.

Q & A with Tislam Smith!

You might have seen this tall, lanky, dark, haggard dude shredding up the North Hollywood Skatepark. If you are not familiar with him, his name is Tislam "Tuesdays" Smith! He is an up-coming skater from the Los Angeles area and he has a great amount of passion and dedication for what he does. HIDS:Whats up T-bird? Whats been good with you lately?
Tislam:Ive been good just skating at the Noho Plaza with the homies everyday.
HIDS:Who are your current sponsors?
Tislam:Right now im just getting boards from Val Surf. Thats it.
HIDS:We know you been living that nomad lifestyle for a while now. What are you currently calling home right now?
Tislam:Shit, depends on where the nightlife takes me.
HIDS:What happen to Tislam Tuesdays? We really miss those. When can we expect another one?
Tislam:Whenever I get caught doing stupid shit again.(Laughs)
HIDS:What is skateboarding all about for you?
Tislam:Getting your homies to kill themselves for your amusement.(Laughs)Naw just having fun and staying focused.

Tislam:Yeah, actually the homie Derek Heydle is coming out with a fall joint called "Good Luck" should be proper, hes got good ideas.

Tislam:Obviously, Jaime Morua! The dude can sleep sound asleep listening to "Brodequin" this gnar ass metal band plus the dude skates faster than a cheetah that shotgunned two red bulls.
HIDS:Who are some up-coming skaters to look out for?
Tislam:Im pretty hyped on Even Smith, Davis Torgerson, and the homie Cyril Jackson is a beast!
HIDS:There's a shit load of younger kids who look up to you. Got any words of encouragement for them?
Tislam:Uh.....Just eat a lot of chicken and smoke ciggaretes with no filters and oh yeah! have fun on that plank cause shit....what else is there to do?

Tislam:Be positive. Get baked and go to the beach as much as you can, it's poppin out there.
