Music Monday: "Immigrants & Hypocrites" By Star Fucking Hipsters!

Star Fucking Hipsters is a punk rock band that was started by Leftöver Crack's vocalist Stza and drummer Brandon (former X-Possibles) as a side project. Unfortunately, Brandon died before the band was fully formed. However, Stza continued and the band played their first shows in the Summer of 2005.The line-up originally included vocalist Kisston from "Help Me Help Me I Can't Breathe", guitarist Jamie Toulan from Old Skull, and drummer GiGi from "Another Dying Democracy". This line-up lasted for two performances before they disbanded. The following year, primarily to put a few songs together for the Leftöver Crack/Citizen Fish split release "Deadline", Stza met up with Leftöver Crack and The Slackers drummer Ara Babajian & Degenerics/Ensign guitar prodigy Frank Piegaro. Three of the seven songs produced from this session ended up on the Leftöver Crack/Citizen Fish split, leaving the remaining ones as the basis for the first Star Fucking Hipsters record- "Until We're Dead.". Stza then enlisted a whole new group of musicians, again calling themselves Star Fucking Hipsters. The band now consists of Stza, Frank Piegaro (Degenerics), Nico de Gaillo (Casa De Chihuahua),Ara Slack and Yula Beeri. (Taken form wikipedia)

What it does!?

This last week has been hectic and busy. Thats probably why we only put up two posts this whole week. Not much has been happening and on top of all that we have been working on other side projects and a shit load of homework. Im hyped that there will most likely be a Tislam Tuesdays vol. 6 this tuesday. I know we say that every week but this time I feel like we got some good clips to throw down for this coming Tislam Tuesdays. Anyway, this week should be much more productive than the last, so stay posted and stay active!

Music Monday: "Feeling lucky punk" By INDK!!!!

INDK (pronounced "In Decay"), along with Leftöver Crack, was one of the many bands that arose from the now-defunct Choking Victim, fronted by former Choking Victim guitarist Ezra. The band was line up was completed by Choking Victim's Skwert (drums/backing vocals), bassist Andy Stylee (formerly of Metro Stylee), guitarist/vocalist Jimmy, and on another 6-string, Paul. INDK, much like Choking Victim, broke up while recording their debut full-length, Kill Whitey!, which came out on Go Kart Records.

So we know we said that we would have Tislam Tuesdays Vol.6 ready by this week, but unfortunatley we don't. Our camera is still in repair and that makes the whole process of filming Tislam Tuesdays hectic. We have also been busy tryng to better promote this blog so that we may get more new readers. Music Monday: "Homelife Is A Drag" by No-Cash!

No-Cash was an American punk rock band that formed in 1999. No-Cash consisted of four members that were as follows: Big C (also known as Chris Cash) on lead vocals and guitar, Judd (lead guitar), The Fang (bass guitar), and Arms Of Fury (drums). The latter three also performed backing vocals and have all adopted stage names as shown. Despite constantly being compared to the Crack Rock Steady Seven and especially Leftover Crack due to musical and lyrical similarities, No-Cash originated in Pennsylvania rather than New York and as such had its own unique members. In 2005, No-Cash disbanded due to "differences within the band" – their website went down and no further explanation was ever given.(Taken from Wikipedia)
