Music Monday "Fuck Cops" by Asking For It!

(The following was taken from their myspace page http://www.myspace.com/chrisburrows) My name is Chris and this is my band. We make acoustic punk rock music with a gutiar, grand piano, double bass, cello, viola and a whole bunch of violins. We like to party with our dogs, drink coffee, build shit, water our gardens, kill cops and pretty much do whatever the fuck we want.

Stitches For Tislam!

Our good homie Tislam Smith was skating the new North Hollywood skate plaza when he made a gash in his leg. Lucky for him there was a paramedic at the scene and let him know that he should seek medical attention, so he hit up the sketchy free clinic. Here are a few photos that Filmer Marv took from his iphone.

How To Make A Pole Jam With Tislam Smith!

Here is a new segment that is instructional and beneficial for those who live in a piece of shit area that has no skate spots. When you dont have any good skate spots you gotta make em your damn self and who better to show you than Tislam Smith. TAKE NOTES!

Step1: Find a decent spot or gap that is pole jam accessible such as the gap above.

Step2: Bring your local filmer/photographer.

Step3: Bring your board spray painted with "Fuck Cops" on it. It's guaranteed to piss off any cop who try's to hate on your game.

Step4: Try to cause a minor car accident to slow down traffic if on a busy street so that there is a less chance that you will be hit by a car.

Step5: Find a pole that can easily be bent.

Step6: Scope out the spot once again to make sure everything is in order.

Step7: Secure the pole into the spot you will be skating if possible.

Step8: Make sure the pole is sturdy enough to skate. The last thing you want is to eat shit!

Step9: Lastly, go for that shit. Wether you land it or not is all up to you!

Happy Birthday Talina! We Miss You!

Today is the 19th birthday of our long time friend Talina Mary Saegh, unfortunately she is not here to celebrate with us because she committed suicide on September 7, 2009. We miss her very much and we are still celebrating her birthday. For those that didn't know her, she was way cool, artisctic, a great photographer, and the list can go on and on! There is an official tribute page to Talina on facebook so go search her name Talina Mary Saegh And check that out. There is going to be a gathering today, check it out. (Details Below) We can't stress enough how awesome she was and it really sucks that she is not here now but we are sure that were ever she is, she is happy.

Talina's birthday is May 6th... we were thinking of gathering everyone that day around 2 for cake and a mini celebration at the cemetery in chatsworth. We would like to sit around and remember Talina on this special day and we can't do it alone. Well, we can but Talina would have LOVED everyone who loved and cared for her to be there in one place. So join us. Feel free to bring a friend... positive and warm vibes are welcome. We will have coffee, tea, and a birthday cake for Talina.

Music Monday: "Redrum" By Project Pat!

Patrick Stephen Houston (better known as Project Pat) is an American rapper originating from Memphis, Tennessee. He is the older brother of Juicy J, co-founder of the Three 6 Mafia. Project Pat broke onto the mainstream scene after providing the hook for Three 6 Mafia's hit "Sippin' on Some Syrup" in 2000 and released his breakthrough album Mista Don't Play: Everythangs Workin', the most successful album ever for an independent artist on the Hypnotize Minds label, the next year. In 2001, he was arrested for parole violation after a pair of revolvers were discovered in his vehicle during a traffic stop. That March, he was sentenced to four years in prison on two counts of a felon in possession of a firearm. His third album Layin' Da Smack Down was released during Pat's incarceration. Project Pat is a member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity INC. In late 2009, Project Pat began attempting to start up a new record label called D-Brady Ent.
