Music Monday: "Immigrants & Hypocrites" By Star Fucking Hipsters!

Star Fucking Hipsters is a punk rock band that was started by Leftöver Crack's vocalist Stza and drummer Brandon (former X-Possibles) as a side project. Unfortunately, Brandon died before the band was fully formed. However, Stza continued and the band played their first shows in the Summer of 2005.The line-up originally included vocalist Kisston from "Help Me Help Me I Can't Breathe", guitarist Jamie Toulan from Old Skull, and drummer GiGi from "Another Dying Democracy". This line-up lasted for two performances before they disbanded. The following year, primarily to put a few songs together for the Leftöver Crack/Citizen Fish split release "Deadline", Stza met up with Leftöver Crack and The Slackers drummer Ara Babajian & Degenerics/Ensign guitar prodigy Frank Piegaro. Three of the seven songs produced from this session ended up on the Leftöver Crack/Citizen Fish split, leaving the remaining ones as the basis for the first Star Fucking Hipsters record- "Until We're Dead.". Stza then enlisted a whole new group of musicians, again calling themselves Star Fucking Hipsters. The band now consists of Stza, Frank Piegaro (Degenerics), Nico de Gaillo (Casa De Chihuahua),Ara Slack and Yula Beeri. (Taken form wikipedia)

What it does!?

This last week has been hectic and busy. Thats probably why we only put up two posts this whole week. Not much has been happening and on top of all that we have been working on other side projects and a shit load of homework. Im hyped that there will most likely be a Tislam Tuesdays vol. 6 this tuesday. I know we say that every week but this time I feel like we got some good clips to throw down for this coming Tislam Tuesdays. Anyway, this week should be much more productive than the last, so stay posted and stay active!
